Dos and Don’ts For Bangs

March 27, 2010
-Blow dry your bangs, especially short bangs, immediately after washing your hair. Wet bangs are easy to manipulate. The drier they get, the harder you’ll have to fight them to do what you want.
-Blow dry your bangs using the “back and forth” technique. It calms cowlicks, and disrupts a strong part. Refer to the video to see what I’m talking about.
-Be afraid to try a shorter bang. They change the look of your hair instantly. Sick of them after a few weeks? Don’t freak out, your hair grows about a half inch per month.
– Get caught with greasy bangs! By the end of the day, mine are a hot mess. The good news: it takes about 3 minutes to fix the problem. Lean over the sink, wet your bangs only, rub in a dot of shampoo, and rinse again. Blow dry and hit the town.

Thanks! Just cut my bangs in a long straight fashion and found this video. Will try that out. Again, thanks!
